TIPS FOR PRODUCT CARE AND INSTALLATION.

Make it look beautiful always!

Handmade product: color, size, and/or motifs may vary slightly. The metal's oxidation patina may vary with ambient humidity, enhancing the beauty of this work. Avoid handling with sweaty hands or substances that react with copper. Gloves are recommended for handling and installation. Next, apply wax as described under PATINA and WAXING in this section.

The buyer must install the mirrors on the wall, choosing the appropriate mounting system and number of screws or nails for the mirror's weight. Make sure the head of the nail or screw fits securely into the frame's groove or hanger.

Mirrors larger than one meter should be handled by several people using gloves and safety measures to protect them.

The picture frames have been designed to have no parts to disassemble when inserting the photo. They have a slot at the top where both the glass and the photo slide in. Be careful to hold the glass so it doesn't fall and break when you turn it upside down.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • The mirror glass is easily cleaned by hand with a soft, damp cloth or microfiber.
  • Regular Cleaning of Copper and Silver:

Once you've installed the piece, to lubricate the patina: apply a little wax with a soft cloth and rub with a clean cloth to remove the excess and lubricate the patina. This will be all you need to keep your work from our firm "Claudia y Julio" beautiful.

  • Occasional cleaning of Copper and Silver.

If you need to polish the reliefs after a long time, use the enclosed cleaning cloth . First, rub vigorously on the non-logo side of the cloth, which is impregnated with a metal-cleaning chemical. Then polish by rubbing on the other side of the cloth. Using a soft cloth, apply a little wax and remove the excess by rubbing with another clean cloth.
If you need to give the high reliefs a more polished look, you can use a little bit of " Silvo " or " Brasso " metal polish to clean the raised areas of the relief that have darkened. Be careful not to remove the dark patina from the rest of the frame. Follow the product instructions on the metal polish container. Finally, apply the wax as shown here.

These instructions for Copper and Silver are applicable to mirror frames, boxes, chests, picture frames, crosses and plaques with figures.

  • Skin Care:

For the Genuine Leather-covered parts of picture frames, boxes, and the backs of figurines and crosses, it is recommended to simply use a soft-bristled brush. You can also apply a little of the same wax used for copper and silver, then brush.

PATINA and WAXING:

Copper's dark patina has been imparted to the metal through oxidation. This result provides a vintage appearance, reminiscent of the metal's exposure to the environment for many years. It provides a rich tone that enhances the shine of the metal's polished reliefs.

Apply a little wax with a soft cloth and another clean cloth, rubbing to remove the excess and lubricate the patina, as soon as the piece is installed. This is the natural sealing process, which hardens and thickens the patina during the first few humid seasons it is exposed to. When a lighter color appears in a single area, repeat this waxing process to seal the patina and create a pleasing natural grain.
